Gadafi Wahab has confirmed his departure from NEC FC after one and half year with the club.

The South Sudan national team midfielder is set to join South Sudanese big spenders Jamus Sports Club.

Using his Facebook Page, Wahab confirmed that he has left the club ahead of a new challenge,

” Dear Die Hards, Today I say goodbye to this magnificent club as it is NEC FC. I want to thank the club for making me a better footballer and for making me feel at home during my time here.” Wahab says.

He is set to follow Rashid Okocha who also left NEC FC after his contract expired to join Jamus SC.

It should be noted that Wahab switched allegiance to South Sudan last year and has been a mainstay for their national team selection.

The former Onduparaka FC and Arua Hill captain will follow a host of new signings made by the South Sudanese champions in preparation for their debut CAF Champions League campaign.

Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Jaffar Kerepi, Martin Otwao, Ezra Bida and goalkeeper Richard Anyama are some of the familiar names among the new players at the club.
