Striker Gerald Ogweti has completed his move to Uganda Premier League newcomers Police FC, Swift Sports understands.

Ogweti has signed a three year contract with Police FC to complete his move from BUL FC.

The striker was so much needed by both Maroons FC and Mbale Heroes as earlier reported but neither of the two sides could beat the Cops to his signature.

Mbale Heroes were very optimistic about Ogweti since he played for the club as a double licensed player from BUL FC last season.

Ogweti partially played a part as Mbale Heroes found their way up to the Uganda Premier League from the FUFA Big League last season.

While at BUL FC, Ogweti was primarily used as a backup for Alex Kitata and was limited to only 19 appearances and scoring two goals.

He has previously turned out for Lugazi Municipal Council and Lugazi FC as well as Kyaggwe and Busiro in the Masaza Cup.
