Match-day one of the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup climaxed on Sunday with five games at various playgrounds.
In Buwama, Mawokota had their revenge over Buweekula with a 2-1 win in their Masengere group game, thanks to goals from Isingoma George who scored in either half for the three time Masaza Cup winners.
Isingoma gave the hosts the lead with a sensational free kick strike just before half time. He doubled Mawokota’s advantage in the second period before Candia Benon pulled one back for Buweekula.

It was a perfect revenge for Mawokota who lost 2-1 on aggregate to Buweekula in the quarterfinal last year.

In the other Masengere group game on Sunday, Bugerere played out to a 1-1 stalemate with Buvuma. Ibrah Kasakya scored for Buvuma before Osaman Mayanja secured at least a point for Bugerere.
It should be remembered that Kyaddondo beat Bulemeezi 1-0 on Saturday, thanks to a sole goal from Sudais Ssentamu.
Kyaggwe kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 comfortable win over Kkooki in the Muganzirwazza group contest at Bishops SS grounds in Mukono on Sunday.

David Mugalu and Ssembalirwa Yosam second half goals broke Kkooki’s resilience.
Mawogola under the stewardship of Asaph Mwebaze beat Butambala 1-0 at Mawogola playground with Ndugu Jabel scoring the all important goal of the game.
The other game in Muganzirwazza group was a goalless stalemate between Kabula and Ssingo on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Busujju beat Busiro 1-0 in the Bulange group contest on Sunday, thanks to a Lauben Lubwama first half goal while Buluuli humbled Ssese 2-0 on Saturday.
In the same group, Buddu kicked off their campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Gomba last weekend at Kitovu Sports Arena.
