Kitara FC forward Jude Ssemugabi finds himself into another transfer saga as he is likely to miss out on a move to Singapore’s Brunei DPMM FC, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Vipers SC, KCCA FC and South Sudan side Jamus are all interested in signing the player this transfer window.
According to the travel documents seen by this website Ssemugabi was due to travel to Singapore in July to complete his move but it’s likely to be called off due to the player’s involvement in the delayed African Nations Championships (CHAN).
His flight is likely to be cancelled and the deal called off since at the time for CHAN the club will be off for pre-season.
Brunei DPMM FC is owned by Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah,Crown Prince of Brunei Darussalam.
Earlier reports indicated that Ssemugabi had agreed to join Vipers before news circulated last week that he was on his way to South Sudanese side Jamus.
Ssemugabi is out of contract at Kitara FC and it has been established that KCCA FC are currently the frontrunners for his signature following Brian Ssenyondo’s move to Lugogo. Ssemugabi previously worked with Ssenyondo at Synergy FC and Mbarara City.
