Wasswa Bbosa is expected to renew his stay at Uganda Premier league side Kitara FC, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Bbosa’s previous employment contract expired at the end of last season but this website has established that Bbosa has this week held negotiations with Kitara FC’s new management.
Bbosa is expected to put pen to paper on a one year employment contract with the 2024 Uganda Cup winners after positive talks.
Rwanda Premier League side Musanze FC were interested in Bbosa’s services but it seems he will at least stay at Kitara for another year.
His stay at Kitara will be a huge boost for the club who are expected to lose almost 14 of their squad members. The club earlier this week announced that it will conduct trials for new talents.
He is expected to work with George William Lutalo who has CAF A license.
Bbosa replaced Brian Ssenyondo in November last year and helped the club finish seventh on the Uganda Premier league table with 44 points as well as reaching the Uganda Cup Semifinals before being eliminated by eventual winners Vipers SC.
He has previously managed at seven time UPL champions Express FC and record Ugandan league winners SC Villa.
