Azah Taibu replaces fallen VP Mugoye at Fufa helm

Moses Magogo Hassim will serve as FUFA President for a fourth term (2025-2029) after being elected at the 101st FUFA Ordinary General Assembly held at Hoima Resort Hotel on Saturday.

Magogo was elected by acclamation in the Federation’s general Assembly in Kitara Region.

Magogo is FUFA’s long-serving President having succeeded Dr Lawrence Mulindwa in 2013.

His executive for the fourth term was also confirmed at the event on Saturday.

Justus Mugisha has been retained as first Vice President while Dr Taibu Azar who has been in charge of FUFA Judicial Bodies is the new 2nd Vice President replacing the late Darius Mugoye who passed away in 2023.The position has been vacant since the death of Mugoye.

Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi the third Vice President.

Besides Azar, Deo Mutabazi who is the chairman of the Uganda Beach soccer Association and BUL FC chairman Ronald Barente are the other new entrants.
