Kitara makes coaching adjustments as Bbosa and Lutalo renew stay

Uganda Premier league side Kitara Football Club has officially announced the renewal of employment contracts for Wasswa Bbosa and George William Lutalo for a further two years.

Both coaches were out of contract at Kitara FC following expiration of their previous contracts.

“Kitara Football Club is pleased to officially announce the renewal of contracts for our technical team for a further two years, reaffirming our commitment to stability, and long-term.” Read part of the statement.

The club has also made adjustments in the coaching staff with Lutalo who last season served as assistant coach being elevated to the head coaching role while Bbosa will be his assistant.

“As part of this new chapter, the club has made an important adjustment in the technical leadership structure. Mr. Lutalo George Willam, previously the Assistant Coach, has been appointed as the Head Coach, while Mr. Wasswa Bossa will now assume the role of Assistant Coach.”

“This shift comes as Coach Bossa prepares to enroll for the CAF A Coaching Course, a requirement by the FUFA Club Licensing Committee effective this season.The club fully supports Coach Bossa’s pursuit of professional development and compliance with FUFA 5 licensing standards.”

The club is also expected to announce other members of the backroom staff. Last season, Kitara FC finished sixth on the table and lost at the semifinal stage in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
