Uganda Cranes defender Timothy Denis Awany has signed a new one year contract with Israeli Premier League side Ashdod FC.

Awany has been at Ashdod since 2019 when he joined the club from Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC.
He has played a total of 166 games for the club across all competitions scoring one goal and assisting the other.

The lanky central defender has also played 40 games for the Uganda Cranes since his debut in 2016 scoring one goal.
Ashdod will kick off their 2025/26 season campaign with a clash against Hapoel Jerusalem in the Toto Cup Ligat Al on July 22nd.
