Joseph Dhata Lujang has extended his employment contract with NEC FC for a further two years.
The South Sudanese right wing back has been out of contract at the Uganda Premier league side but has decided to renew his stay.
His former side Vipers SC were interested in his signature in this transfer window to boost their right wing back that has Nicholas Wakiro Wadada.
Dhata joined NEC FC at the start of the 2023/24 season and in that same season he finished as the top scorer in the Uganda Cup.
He scored six goals in the Uganda Cup but also scored six league goals in the league.
Injuries however affected him during the 2024/25 season.
Dhata made his topflight debut with Vipers SC in the 2020/21 season before joining Express FC a season later in pursuit of sufficient playing time.
