Ugandan midfielder Shafik Kagimu ‘Kuchi’ has officially left North Macedonian topflight side FK Rabotnicki following the expiry of his contract.
Kagimu joined the North Macedonian giants in August 2023 from Kenya’s Gor Mahia on a two year contract.
He spent the closing half of the previous season on loan at AP Brera Strumica, another North Macedonian topflight side.
He subsequently played a crucial role to guide Brera Strumica to safety in the closing stages of the season.
Kagimu played a total of 34 games for FK Rabotnicki scoring one goal and assisting two others.
Locally, Kagimu played for URA FC in the Uganda Premier League in a lengthy spell that eventually saw him become the club’s captain before leaving for Gor Mahia.
Rogers Mato who features for FK Vardar is the other Ugandan player playing in the North Macedonian topflight league.
