St Noa Girls head coach Jimmy Kintu set to land UPL job

Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Calvary FC are in advanced talks with Jimmy Kintu Mwera for the role of head coach.

Swift Sports understands that if the deal materialises Kintu will be awarded an employment contract of two years.

Kintu is currently the head coach of St.Noa Girls School a side he guided to the FUFA Women Super league after defeating Asubo Gafford Ladies.

He has also worked with Kyetume FC, Uganda Christian University and Kyaggwe in the Masaza Cup tournament.

Calvary FC were the champions of the 2024-25 FUFA Big League.

They completed the season on top of the table with 52 points after defeating Paidha Black Angels 1-0 on the final day of the season.

They also produced the Most Valuable Player ( MVP) of the season Lawrence Olaboro.
