Tanzania giants Young Africans have made a bid for KCCA FC midfielder Joel Sserunjogi that could be worth up to $100,000.
Swift Sports understands the offer is understood to be an initial $100,000 but KCCA FC are yet to respond to the offer.
The central midfielder is in his final year at the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions.
Sserunjogi has been Uganda Cranes’ unsung hero by a country mile at the ongoing African Nations Championship co-hosted by Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
He has been the heart beat of the Cranes’ midfield at the rearranged CHAN and will be suspended for the crucial meeting against South Africa on Monday next week.
Sserunjogi joined KCCA FC in 2023 on a three-year employment contract.
He has previously played for Kajjansi United FC and in the Masaza competition for Buddu and Busiro.
Yanga has been the home for Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho whose contract expired at the end of last season.
