Express FC captain Emmanuel Alex Wasswa has joined Kitara FC, Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm.
Wasswa joins the Royals as a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at the seven time Uganda Premier League champions.
This website has established that the experienced midfielder has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Hoima based side.
He will reunite with his former teammate Isa Lumu who also joined Kitara FC from the Red Eagles.
Wasswa has also previously played for Ndejje University, KCCA FC and SC Villa.
Kitara FC under the stewardship of George William Lutalo and Wasswa Bbosa have embarked on a rebuilding process following a disappointing 2024/25 campaign.
Amir Kakomo, Sadiq Ssekyembe, Meddie Kibirige are some of the other new signings at Kitara FC. They also remain in talks with experienced defender Murushid Juuko.
