Six Ugandan football academies have received donation of 160 balls through Project Play Soccer.

The Project Play Soccer aims at helping football academies in Uganda and across the continent through several donations.

Project Play Soccer was founded by Mike Mitchell and according to Justine Nakabuga who serves as a volunteer at the project asserts that their target is to build a training facility in the country to encourage more children to engage in football.

“We have donated 160 balls to six academies in Uganda but that’s just the beginning. Our target is to construct a training facility in future to help in the nurturing of young footballers in the country. We hope to bring continued smiles to every child through the joy of having a soccer ball.”Said Nakabuga

Proline Soccer Academy, Kawempe Community Kids, Success Soccer Academy, Gayaza Football Academy soccer balls, CSA Academy and Destiny EduSports Academy are the six academies that received balls.

Project Play Soccer also aims at fostering talent and passion for the sport from a young age as well as helping the underprivileged.
