NEC FC have completed the signing of midfielder Siraje Sentamu, Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm.
Sentamu joins NEC FC on a two year deal as a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Vipers in June this year.
Express FC were the other Uganda Premier League side that had expressed interest in Sentamu’s signature.
Sentamu is the most decorated player in Vipers’ history having won five Uganda Premier League titles and four Uganda Cups.
He is expected to add steel and experience in the NEC FC midfield that already has Daniel Shabena, Muzamir Mutyaba, Paul Mucureezi among others.
NEC FC is to represent Uganda at the 2025 CECAFA Kagame Cup due in Tanzania next month and are in Group B alongside APR FC, Bumamuru FC and Mlandege FC.
