Angolan winger Etienne Katenga has extended his employment contract with KCCA FC.
The Angola attacker has been out of contract, having joined the Kasasiro boys in 2023 on a two year deal.
He has signed a new two year deal that will keep him at Lugogo until 2027. Libyan side Abu Salem SC was interested in Katenga’s signature in this transfer window.
Katenga has previously played for Asa FC, Saurimo, and CD Lunda Sul.
The 13-time Uganda Premier League champions already extended employment contracts for Brazilian winger Joao Gabriel and Filbert Obenchan who also extended their stays for another two years.
KCCA FC under the stewardship of Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera will be seeking to put an end to the club’s title drought this forthcoming season.
They have beefed up their squad with the acquisition of Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Lazaro Bwambale Muhindo, Herbert Achayi, Rogers Mugisha, Enock Walusimbi, Charles Lukwago and Alpha Thierry Ssali.
