Police FC have announced the signing of midfielder Deus Bukenya on a two year contract.
Bukenya has been signed from Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar where he spent the last two seasons.
He is a two time Uganda Premier League winner with Vipers in 2015 and 2018.
Bukenya primarily operates as a defensive midfielder but can as well play as a right back.
He is expected to be a direct replacement for Timothy Muwanguzi who left the club and joined NEC FC as earlier reported.
Bukenya joins the list of new players at Police FC who also include left back Richard Matovu from Vipers and former SC Villa striker Charles Bbaale.
Stephen Namaisi, Benon Tahomera, Saidi Kyeyune and Lawrence Tezikya Enzo are other new signings at the club.
Police FC will use Kiira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya as their home ground in the upcoming season.
