Winger Patrick Jonah Kakande has put an end to the speculation hovering around his future by signing a new contract with record champions SC Villa. This website can reliably confirm.
Many reports pointed to a potential move to Vipers SC, while others reported negotiations with overseas clubs but the fast-paced, tricky winger who can also ably play as a number 10 has agreed to sign on a deal that will see him pull on the blue and white strip for the next two years.
Kakande joined SC Villa three years ago and has been one of the best performers of the club, guiding them to the record extending title and also emerging the league’s best player in the 2023/24 season.
The rise in stock has seen him win back to back call ups to the senior national football team after also being a key member of Morley Byekwaso’s impressive CHAN team.
