With just hours to the kick off of the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season URA FC have confirmed their three team captains.
Alex Isabirye’s side has confirmed Moses Aliro as the team captain.
Aliro joined URA FC in 2023 from Wakiso Giants and was awarded contract of two years that expired previously and he was awarded a new one of two years.
He will be assisted by the former Soltilo Bright Stars captian Nelson Ssenkatuka.
The second assistant captain is Nelson Kabonge.
The Tax Collectors acquired Arthur Kiggundu,Ronald Otti, Fred Amaku, goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima all from Kitara FC.
Ssenkatuka and goalkeeper Muhammad Ssekeba joined from Soltilo Bright Stars and Entebbe UPPC FC ( former Gaddafi FC).
Enock Walusimbi, Rodgers Omedwa, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Sharif Kimbowa, Bruno Bunyaga, Denis Otim and Oketch are the players that permanently left the Alex Isabirye’s side.
Defender Bright Vuni was sent on loan to the newly promoted side Entebbe UPPC FC.
The also beefed the technical team with the addition of Edward Golola.
URA FC start the new season away from home against BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Center Njeru.
