Masaza Cup Quarterfinal First leg Results

The 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup resumed on Sunday with the first legs of the quarterfinals played across four venues.
At Bishops SS Ground, Kyaggwe smiled to a 2-0 home win over Ssese thanks to goals from David Mugalu and Innocent Matege.
Mugalu handed Kyaggwe the lead in the first period before Matege doubled their advantage in the final minutes of the contest.
Ssese had a chance to cut the deficit from the spot before the final whistle but couldn’t hit the target.
The two sides will next lock horns on Saturday, 4th October at Lutoboka to determine the semifinalists.
Bugerere prevailed to a 2-1 victory over Buluuli at Ntenjeru, courtesy of goals from Mike Katumwa and Osman Mayanja.
Okello Levis Barasa scored Buluuli’s goal that keeps them in contention.
Shafic Ssonko scored the all important goal as red hot favourites Buweekula edged Busujju 1-0 at Kakindu Grounds.
Buweekula will hope to seal the deal next Sunday at Mubende PTC Grounds.
Three time competition winners Mawokota shared spoils in a goalless draw with two time champions Ssingo at Buwama playground.
The two sides will renew their rivalry on Sunday, 5th October at Mityana Ssaza ground. It should be noted that this year’s final is scheduled for 1st November at Nakivubo Stadium.
