Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have not honoured Thursday’s Double Pre-match press conference at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.
The Venoms are expected to face off with Kitara FC on Saturday before KCCA FC lock horns with record League champions SC Villa with both games to be played at Mandela National Stadium.
It should be noted that Vipers SC along with SC Villa and NEC FC rejected the newly introduced three round league format.
Earlier this week, NEC FC confirmed that they will honour their fixture against URA FC slated for this evening while SC Villa showed up for today’s presser.
In the press briefing ahead of Saturday’s double header fixtures, SC Villa head coach Kovacevic Zeljko along with club captain David Owori were in attendance.
For KCCA FC co-head coach Brian Ssenyondo and captain Charles Lukwago showed up while George William Lutalo attended on behalf of Kitara.
It remains uncertain whether seven time league champions Vipers SC will show up for the match against Kitara FC slated for 5Pm at Namboole.
