Yunus Sentamu stars as Mbogo storm Bika Final

Vipers SC forward Yunus Sentamu scored a brace as his Mbogo clan thrashed Omutima Omusagi 5-0 in the second leg of Semifinal of the 2023 Bika football competition on Wednesday.

Mbogo prevailed to the final 6-1 on aggregate and will face the winner between Nsenene and Ngoonge.

In the return leg, Sentamu netted a brace with Nelson Senkatuka, Marvin Nyanzi and Wante Gordon scoring the other goals.

Mbogo under the stewardship of Ibrahim Kirya were 2-0 up in the first half.

Their dominance continued in the second period as they struck three more goals to match on to the final.

Kirya and his charges will face the winner between Nsenene and Ngoonge who will face off in the return leg tomorrow at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Mbogo last won the competition in 2019 courtesy of a Senkatuka sole strike against Koobe in the final that was held in Masaka by then

The first leg Semifinal meeting between Nsenene and Ngoonge ended in a 1-1 stalemate on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the final will be held on 26th August at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku. His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will grace the final.
