BUL FC have appointed Simeon Masaba as their new head coach following the departure of Alex Isabirye Musongola. This website has learnt.
Isabirye replaced Beto Bianchi at Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC.
Masaba has been working as the assistant coach at BUL FC will now take over helms at the reigning Stanbic Uganda Cup Champions.
The former Uganda Cranes international will work alongside Dan Kabaale who has been managing the club’s U-17 team.
Masaba was Jackson Mayanja’s assistant coach at the U20 Uganda National team (Uganda Hippos) that featured at the U20 AFCON Final tournament in Egypt.
The former Uganda Cranes right back has previously worked at Onduparaka Football Club as assistant coach and was twice named caretaker boss at the club before returning to URA in October 2020 as an assistant coach.
He also worked at UPDF FC before he joined Wakiso Giants.
As a player, Masaba played for URA FC helping them win the league title in 2011, the Uganda Cup in 2012 and the 2014 Uganda Cup. He also featured for 16 time Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa.
BUL FC are currently third on the Uganda Premier league table with 29 points they have garnered in 17 games.
