SC Villa earned their first point of the 2025/26 season in a 1-1 stalemate with Entebbe UPPC FC on Wednesday at their new home Kadiba FUFA Stadium.

The Jogoos needed a late Andrew Otim equaliser to salvage at least a point in their second league game.

Fazil Tumwine had given the visitors the lead in the first half of the contest before second half substitute Otim levelled matters in the 83rd minute.

It was yet another disappointing atmosphere with low fans attendance as many are still protesting the new league format introduced by FUFA.

SC Villa remain winless and are second from the bottom with just one point while Entebbe UPPC are fifth on four after three games.

Action resumes on Thursday as Buhimba United Saints entertains Kitara FC in the Hoima derby while KCCA FC will battle Lugazi FC.
