SC Villa needed second half substitutes Geoffrey Gagganga and Charles Lwanga to register their first win of the season with a 2-1 win over Police FC.
The Jogoos’ late show saw them edge the Cops on Friday at their new home FUFA Kadiba Stadium.
Lwanga and Gagganga both came off the bench to inspire SC Villa their maiden league win under Serb Zeljko Kovacevic.
Congolese forward Bedia Djuma had given the Cops the lead in the 22nd minute who suffered their first defeat of the season.
Before Friday’s defeat, Police FC had registered two draws and one win in their previous three games.
Djuma fired the visitors into the lead safter being fed by Denis Kalanzi to silence the Jogoos faithfuls at Kadiba.
Ibrahim Kasinde agonizingly came close to levelling matters for the home side but his effort was saved by goalie Mathias Muwanga.
In the 70th minute, Gagganga resoted parity for SC Villa for his first goal for the Jogoos since crossing over from rivals Express FC.
Lwanga also a second half substitute completed the comeback in added time after a blunder from Police defender Richard Matovu to send SC Villa fans into esctasy.
