Vipers SC travel to Power Dynamos needing to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg when the two sides face off at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Friday at 4Pm for a place in the Group stages of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League.
Vipers lost the first leg at Kitende last Sunday thanks to Moses Shumah and an own goal from Derrick Ndahiro while the Gunners saw Yunus Sentamu netted for the Venoms.
Ivan Jacky Minnaert says his Vipers charges will use focus and determination to try and overturn the 2-1 semi-final first-leg deficit against Power Dynamos.
“The positives we carried on from the first leg is that we have 90 minutes to play.”
Power Dynamos showed their hunger. I think we have the ability, we certainly have the quality, and now we have to prove it.Hopefully we have learned and can show the composure, the determination, and the belief that is very important. “Tomorrow, we know what we are going to face, and it’s going to be tough. So, to my players be very focused, very determined, and go for it.”
The Venoms must win by at least two unanswered goals to prevail to the group stages for the second time in their history.
