The Masaza Cup Organizing Committee has thrown out Kyaggwe petition against Buweekula over player documentation.
Following their exit from the prestigious Buganda Kingdom organized competition at the semifinal stage, Kyaggwe filed a petition to the organizing committee.
After the two legged semifinal that ended in a 1-1 stalemate with each team winning respectively away from home, Buweekula advanced 4-3 on penalties to reach their third final in history
Kyaggwe claimed that Buweekula player Shafik Ssonko used wrong documents while registering to take part in the competition.
They stated in the letter written by their committee secretary Fred Mpanga that Ssonko used NIN number CM1004710K8X6H which is in the name of Ssonko Shafrick who by the rules that govern the competition is ineligible to feature in the Masaza Cup since is below the age of 16.
The Masaza Cup Organizing Committee has given its verdict stating that all teams were given a list of licensed players to feature in the tournament so that they cross-check between dates 26th June, 2025, 19th July 2025 and 8th August 2025.
Before the first leg of the semifinals, the committee again sent a list of Buweekula Ssaza licensed on 8th October, 2025.
While basing on 12.2 and 12.2.3 of the Competition Rules 2025, Kyaggwe petition has been dumped by the Masaza Cup Organizing Committee.

The development means that Buweekula has been cleared to face Ssingo in the final due this Saturday at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo while Kyaggwe will battle with Bugerere in the third place playoff.
