Following the conclusion of the group stage fixtures on Wednesday, focus at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will turn to the knockout phase due to kick off on Saturday, 3rd January.
Mali will take on 2004 African champions Tunisia while Senegal will lock horns with Sudan.
Hosts Morocco will entertain East African representatives Tanzania whereas former champions South Africa and Cameroon will battle for a quarterfinal slot.
Record Afcon winners Egypt will face Benin while three time champions Nigeria will play Mozambique in the round of 16.
Algeria has been paired against Sebastien Desabre’s DR Congo while reigning champions Ivory Coast will face Burkina Faso in the other round of 16 tie.
