Following the climax of match-day four of the FUFA Drum, the current group standings of the prestigious competition have been revealed.
Group A has two former champions Acholi and West Nile along with Bugisu. Acholi currently tops the group with nine points followed by West Nile who are on three points.
Bugisu is bottom placed with no point. Acholi have already sealed a place in the knockout stage of the event.
Inaugural winners Buganda are top of Group B with five points followed by reigning champions Lango who are on four points. Ankole is bottom with just a single point.
Busoga leads a competitive Group C with four points the same as second placed Kigezi while Bunyoro is on three points.
Teso leads Group D with five points same as Tooro who are in second with the same points. Kampala is pointless at the rock bottom.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.

Meanwhile, match-day five will see Bugisu take on West Nile on Saturday, 3rd January while Tooro will battle Kampala on the same day.
Then on Sunday, 4th January, Busoga will entertain Bunyoro whereas Buganda will host Lango in the epic contest on the same day.
