The first round of the 2025/26 Uganda Premier league officially climaxed last week with Vipers finishing top of the table.
Vipers ended the first round top of the log with 36 points with Entebbe UPPC, KCCA FC and SC Villa all finishing with 30 points.
Following the climax of the first round, ten players were sent off with Maroons FC and SC Villa the two teams leading the charts for many red cards, both on two respectively.
The ten players to have been shown marching orders are SC Villa duo of Sula Matovu and Geoffrey Lubangakene.
Maroons pair of Norman Odipio and Simon Tamale. The other players are Tito Ssematimba (NEC), Emmanuel Anyama (KCCA), Fahad Emuran (Mbarara City), Tah Barni Kelvin (BUL), Christopher Kamagu (UPDF) and Paul Wasswa (Lugazi).
The second round of the 2025/26 season will resume on 12th February, 2026 following the climax of the round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup due to be held between 5th February to 10th of the same month.
