Express FC midfielder joins new club in Vietnam

Vietnamese V. League club Hai Phong FC has signed Ugandan midfielder Moses Oloya for the remainder of the season.

Oloya returns to Hai Phong, a side he last played for in 2022 before joining Becamex Binh Duong and later returning to Uganda.

Until recently, the experienced midfielder has been playing for Express FC since the start of the season.

Oloya played 10 league games for the Red Eagles since signing for the club as a free agent from Wakiso Giants.

He returns to a familiar league having previously played for Hanoi, Xuan Thanh Saigon and Becamex Binh Duong on two different stints.

Oloya also played for Kuban Krasnodar in Russian Premier League during in the 2016-17 season.

The Vietnamese V. League (topflight) is also home to Joseph Mpande (PVF CAND FC) and Geoffrey Baba Kizito who plays for Becamex Binh Duong.

Hai Phong FC is one of the most successful football teams in Vietnam with 13 major titles, including 10 North Vietnam national titles and 3 Vietnamese Cup titles.
