The round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup climaxed on Tuesday with 32 teams qualifying to the next round of the 52nd edition of the competition.
Uganda Premier league sides Calvary FC and Buhimba United Saints were shocked at the round of 64. Calvary were shocked by non-league side Football Classroom while Buhimba had their journey ended by Tapah.
Big League sides Wakiso Giants, Mbale Heroes and Soltilo Bright Stars also crashed out of the competition. Mbale Heroes are two time Uganda Cup winners while Bright Stars reached the final in 2019, finishing as runners up to Proline.
Vipers SC are the reigning champions following their triumph over KCCA FC last year at FUFA Kadiba Stadium. Express FC and KCCA FC are the joint record competition winners, both on ten trophies while SC Villa is on nine.
