Uganda Cranes will end their Group G World Cup qualifying campaign away to Algeria on Tuesday night at Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium.

The Cranes must overcome an already qualified Algeria with a significant score to stand a chance in the continental playoffs.

Uganda currently ranked seventh placed with 12 points after points deduction against lowest Group G positioned Somalia in the fight to finish among the best four ranked second.

Paul Put’s men will also hope Sebastien Desabre’s DR Congo doesn’t maximize points against Sudan on the final day.

They will also pray Nigeria doesn’t secure three points against Benin in Group C which could take them to second place above South Africa.

Victory against Algeria will see the Cranes move level on points with Niger, Burkina Faso and Cameroon who have concluded their group matches in the battle for continental World Cup playoffs.

Uganda who have managed to score seven goals in their previous three games qualification game will need goals against Algeria to stand a chance in the playoffs.
