SC Villa presidential hopeful Farouq Meywa will launch his manifesto to the club faithfuls on Saturday, 14th February at Kanyanya in Kampala.
Meywa will reveal his plans to the club fans in Kampala region as preparations intensify for the election of a new executive committee.
On Saturday, Meywa will hold a press briefing at Kanyanya Playground in Kawempe, Kampala, where he will present his vision and priorities for the record league champions.
The launch event will also feature a friendly match between Kazo/Kawempe Managers and Uganda Cranes legends, adding a celebratory tone to the campaign activity.
In addition, Meywa will donate jerseys, footballs and other prizes to selected teams as part of his outreach efforts.
The campaign momentum will continue on March 1, 2026, when SC Villa is expected to release the election roadmap at East High School. The event will also serve as an opportunity to register new SC Villa fans.
Meywa seeks to unseat Hajji Omar Mandela at the helms of Uganda’s most successful football club. Mandela’s term saw the Jogoos end a 20-year title drought when they won the 2023/24 league title and as well as winning the FUFA Super 8 last year including representing Uganda in the CAF Champions League in 2024/25 season.
