Rwanda Premier League side Gicumbi FC have acquired former Vipers midfielder Olivier Osomba Omadjondo.

Osomba was a free agent since parting ways with Congolese giants last season.

The Congolese defensive midfielder has already hit the ground running making his full debut against La Jeunesse FC in the Peace Cup a week ago.

Osomba featured for Vipers in the 2022/23 season and was part of the Venoms team that qualified for the CAF Champions League Group Stages.

He eventually left the Kitende based club a season later and returned to his native country.

Osomba is also on a return to Rwanda having previously played for Etincelles FC during the 2020/21 season.

Al Najma (Bahrain), US Tataounie (Tunisia), Aigle Noir (Burundi) and Congolese sides AS Dauphin Noir and AS Nyuki are other clubs he has played for.

Gicumbi FC currently sits 12th on the Rwanda Premier League table with 22 points from 20 games played.
