Pedro Honjo Chimbiambiulo “Sukuya” has joined Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto following his departure from Vipers SC.
As reported by this website, Vipers terminated Sukuya’s employment contract last month.
The Angolan attacking midfielder joined Vipers in July 2024 on a two year contract and leaves Kitende after winning a domestic double.
Before his stint in Uganda, Sukuya featured for Wiliete SC de Benguela, Talentos De Benguele, ANZ Desporto Angolano, Domant FC and Petro de Luanda.
The acquisition of Sukuya is expected to ignite Primeiro de Agosto’s surge for this season’s title.
Primeiro de Agosto currently sit second on the table with 33 points, three behind leaders Petro de Luanda who also have a game in hand.
Primeiro de Agosto are 13 time league champions and have won the Angolan Cup six times.
It should be remembered that Agosto played against KCCA FC in the Preliminary Round of the CAF Champions League in 2017.
