Nine time Stanbic Uganda Cup champions SC Villa will host BUL FC in the round of 32 encounter under the lights of FUFA Kadiba on Wednesday.

BUL FC are 2022 competition winners while SC Villa last won it eleven years ago when they overcame KCCA FC in the final that was played at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.

The Jogoos beat Pallisa Hospital 2-1 in the previous round to qualify for the round of 32 while BUL FC, with David Owori and Aslam Semakula scoring the two goals for Villa.

BUL on the other hand thrashed Agape United 7-0 to reach this stage thanks to a quadruple from Karim Ndugwa and Seiri Arigumaho hat-trick.

BUL beat SC Villa 2-1 during their league meeting at FUFA Technical Centre whereas the Jogoo’s triumphed over the Eastern Giants in the FUFA Super 8.

Villa will be without Charles Lwanga and Simon Ssemayange through respective injuries while goalkeeper Brady Jeans Wokorach is suspended following his red card against Pallisa Hospital.

BUL are without Martin Aprem while Walter Ochora and Nicholas Mwere are major doubts.

For starters, BUL FC are managed by Alex Isabirye Musongola the most successful coach in the history of the competition, with four trophies having won it at URA FC, defunct Victor University, BUL FC and Vipers SC.

In the other games on Wednesday, non-league side Football Classroom visit Onduparaka,URA host Blacks Power while Express battles Ntugasaze.
