Calvary FC have entered advanced talks with Dudu Bosco to become their head coach in a desperate bid to save their season.

The Yumbe based club sits at the bottom of the Uganda Premier League table with only five points garnered from the 17 games played.

Calvary have been under the interim tutelage of Simon Otim since the departure of their Jimmy Kintu who resigned from the club’s head coach role in November.

Dudu has been identified as the potential savior of the embattled West Nile club with 13 games to the climax of the season.

Dudu has previously served at Calvary as a Technical Director in the 2020/21 season and as a head coach in 2022.

He is an experienced and trusted tactician having previously coached at Onduparaka FC, Paidha Black Angels, Dove All Stars, Arua Central, South Sudan’s Atlabara FC and recently NEC FC among others.

Calvary are also still busy in the transfer market with hopes bolstering their squad with a few signings before the closure of business.

The Horizon Stars will host SC Villa in their subsequent league game in Yumbe on Monday 2nd March.
