Former SC Villa president Immanuel Ben Misagga has revealed that he is yet to pick nominations forms in the bid to contest for the club presidency.

SC Villa electoral committee led by Brian Kajuba yesterday confirmed that five individuals had picked nomination forms these included incumbent Omar Mandela, Farouq Meywa, Denis Mbidde Ssebugwawo, Simeon Buleezi Kawuma and Joseph Muguluma Mbazzi who they claimed picked his forms through his agent.

“I can’t be party to an election process that is surely not transparent,” he started. “In the first place, the vetting committee has already shown partiality towards one candidate and no sane person,” Misagga said as quoted by Kawowo Sports before adding,

“It would be foolhardy to waste 100 million in a process like that and for that reason, I am not standing.” Said Misagga

Misagga served as Villa president from 2014 to 2018 before he fell out with Fufa over what they termed as illegalities.

When Mandela assumed office in November, 2021, he appointed Misagga as Vice President in charge of mobilization.

The Electoral committee will await those that have picked nomination forms to return them on Saturday which has been scheduled as the deadline day.
