KCCA FC have reached the quarterfinal stage of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after thrashing Onduparaka 5-0 in the round of 16 at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.
Emmanuel Anyama struck a brace with Said Mayanja, Alex Yiga and Sammy Ssebaduka scoring a goal each for the joint record competition champions.
The Kasasiro boys remain in contention for cup double following their progress in the Uganda Cup. They are also five points adrift of league leaders Vipers SC.
They join lower league side Happy Boys FC Kagaba and NEC who eliminated Six O’clock and Lugazi respectively.
Meanwhile action will resume on Wednesday as Vipers host Iganga United at Kitende while Kitara FC will
battle Bunyaruguru at Royals Park in Butema.
