Kyaggwe Ssaza management team has beefed up their squad with the acquisition of forwards Lauben Lubwama and Shaban Kayongo.
Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm that the two players have completed their moves to the 2024 Masaza Cup runners-up.
Lubwama featured for Busujju during last year’s Masaza Cup championship, helping them reach the quarterfinals.
Kayongo was Ssingo’s team captain last year when they finished as Masaza Cup runners up to Buweekula.
He played a vital role for Ssingo during the campaign despite finishing as losing finalists.
Kayongo recently completed a move to Kisoro based side, SC Volcanoes who compete in the Western Regional league. He joined on a short-term contract running until the end of this season from Nantabulirwa FC.
Kyaggwe will be aiming to win the prestigious Buganda Kingdom organized competition this year.
Last year, Kyaggwe finished third after edging Bugerere 1-0 in the third place playoff at Nakivubo Stadium.
