Musu powers past Nte as Wankulukuku hosts first-ever match under the lights

For the first time in history, a Bika Football Competition match was played under the lights with Musu taking on Nte on Saturday at Muteesa II Stadium.

The match between Musu and Nte went down in history as the first ever Bika match since 1950 to be played at night.

It was also the maiden competitive match to be staged under the light of Wankulukuku.

Musu managed by Faridah Bulega cruised to a comfortable 3-1 win over Nte in a Group A affair.

Musu scored all their three goals in the first period of the game with Martin Nsimbe, Jibril Badru Nsimbe and Rafael Mulumba on the score sheet.

In the second half, Nte pulled one back with Derrick Kakooza finding the back of the net.

Nte had a chance to score the second goal in the final minutes of the game but Umar Kasumba had his penalty saved by Musu goalkeeper. Musu smiled to maximum points and are in Group A along with Butiko, Ffumbe and Nte.
