NEC’s Ssebwalunyo among Fortebet Real Stars of April

The organizers of the Fortebet Real Stars monthly Awards have on Tuesday, 5th May at Nanjing Restaurant named the winners for the month of April.

The best is football, Rugby and Basketball were rewarded by the organizers.

NEC FC goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo who has been in fine form scoring two goals in the league claimed the football gong.

The custodian kept five clean sheets, scoring two goals in April to beat Maroons midfielder Ivan Mayanja and SC Villa striker Frank Ssebuufu to the award.

Ssebwalunyo has previously featured for BUL FC, Maroons FC, URA FC before joining NEC FC. He also played for Bulemeezi Ssaza team in the prestigious Masaza Cup competition as well as Ndejje University in the University Football League.

Alex Aturinda of Pirates, beat Proscovia Mukyala (Thunderbirds) and Daniels Otim (Buffaloes) to the Rugby award.

Meanwhile, the basketball,m accolade went to Edreene Ekau of Rezlife Stars after averaging 20 points per game, seeing off competition from Faheed Baale (City Oilers) and Tracy Namugose (KCCA Leopards.

The awarding ceremony was graced by Fortebet Ambassador Alex Muhangi and Jude Color Solutions’ Eron Nandawula. Real Stars agency CEO Isac Mukasa was also in attendance.

The winners are rewarded with winners accolades as well as cash prizes from the sponsors Fortebet and Jude Color Solutions.
