Buhimba United Saints head coach Robert Mukasa alias Kiyenje has part ways with the club ahead of their league game away to NEC FC.

According to Sports Nation Uganda, Mukasa stepped aside due to lack of pay. It is reported that the club has not paid the tactician since he joined them in December last year.

Buhimba bottom of the table with 16 points is on the verge of relegation and defeat under the lights of Lugogo on Wednesday could see them edge closer towards the drop.

The club is also facing a massive exodus with several players failing to appear for training and on match day citing lack of pay.

They will need to double their efforts for the trip to Lugogo to take on a NEC side that is unbeaten in the league since December, 17th 2025. Tonight’s game might be circled as relegating Buhimba day.

Departing Mukasa, has previously worked at SC Villa, URA, Gaddafi FC, UTODA FC and only managed six points since taking over at Buhimba on December 7th last year.
