Kitara FC won their second Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy on Saturday with a 2-1 win over SC Villa at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
Kitara triumphed over the Jogoos through an own goal from Diego Misi Ssemugera and Jimmy Kalema.
Villa had took the lead through an own goal from Patrick Henry Kaddu.
Following the climax of the 52nd edition of the competition, Kitara FC midfielder Gadafi Wahab was named as the Most Valuable Player.
His teammates Meddie Kibirige and George Ssenkaaba won the best goalkeeper and Top scorer of the competition accolades respectively.


Kibirige only conceded twice throughout the entire campaign while Ssenkaaba finished with four goals to clinch the top scorer gong.
SC Villa captain David Owori the defender of the tournament accolade while Frank Tumwesigye Zaga was named Man of the match in the final.
