BUL FC have confirmed the departure of 10 squad players as the rebuilding process for the next season starts.

The 10 are; Ibrahim Orit, Fredrick Ngalo, Bakali Magumda, Viane Sekajugo, Thomas Ochungo, Jeromy Kirya, Nicholas Mwere, Julius Barasa Isaac Wagoina and Karim Ndugwa.

As earlier reported by this website, Mwere has already signed for the league champions Vipers SC.

Kirya who joined the club in 2021 from Busoga United, has been a transfer target for Vipers for the past two seasons and could be on his way to Kitende.

Ndugwa is another notable exit. The experienced striker re-joined the club in January last year, was the club’s leading scorer last season with eight league goals but leaves as a free agent.

Wagoina who joined the club following a scintillating form with Express FC, struggled to replicate his performance and ultimately leaves upon his contract expiry.

Ibrahim Orit, Viane Sekajugo, Thomas Ochungo and Bakali Magumda have also been released having had less impact in the club’s unconvincing run last season.

The club under the tutelage of Alex Isabirye, is expected to replace the departed players with predominantly emerging talent.

BUL FC finished 9th on the league table last season with 37 points, 30 behind the eventual champions Vipers.
