KCCA FC confirmed Elvis Ngonde as their first signing of the current transfer window ending his three year stay at SC Villa.
Ngonde joined KCCA on a three year employment contract which will see him be at Lugogo until at least 2029.
This website has established that Ngonde’s relationship with Villa head coach Zeljko Kovacevic and renown FIFA agent Ivica Stankovic who currently serves as the technical advisor at the club were his main reasons for leaving the Jogoos this transfer window.
Sources reveal that Kovacevic and Stankovic zeroed in on negatives in Ngonde’s game, never the positives which led him hate being at the record UPL league champions.
Villa Chief Executive William Nkemba also failed to execute his role to negotiate a new deal for the player who joins their archrivals as a free agent.
For starters, Nkemba has long been a lightning rod for Villa fans’ frustrations, and he has borne the brunt of much of the criticism from outside the club for failing to keep the trophy room as stacked as well as improving the squad with quality players.
Ngonde became the second Villa player to leave this transfer following the departure of winger Hassan Mubiru who joined Tanzania’s Azam FC in this window. The fans are waiting on how Villa will react in the market after another trophyless campaign.
