Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC are in advanced talks with attacking midfielder Ibrahim Owen Kasule.
The Venoms have already held talks with Kasule’s representatives for a possible return with the player open to join the Kitende based side.
Kasule currently features for CT United in MLS NEXT Pro whom he joined on loan from New York Red Bulls II.
Sources at Kitende believe that Vipers have made a significant breakthrough and are confident they can get the deal over the line in this transfer period.
Kasule has previously featured for Kampala Junior Team (KJT), Nansana United and Wakiso Giants. In the Masaza Cup he played for Buddu Ssaza and also featured for St. Lawrence University in the University Football League.
In March 2023, Kasule joined MLS NEXT Pro side New York Red Bulls ans helped the side win the MLS NEXT Pro Cup in 2025 before joining CT United on loan.
Vipers who earlier confirmed Frenchman Denis Lavagne as their new head coach have so far unveiled Joel Sserunjogi, Nicholas Mwere and Jacques Mangoba as their new signings.
