Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC are reportedly scrambling for the signature Madagascar winger Toky Rakotondraibe.
Rakotondraibe currently features for COSFA Football Club in Madagascar but reports indicate that the Venoms are interested in his signature.
At the 2024 African Nations Championship held in East Africa, Rakotondraibe scored three goals for his nation as they finished as runners up to eventual winners Morocco.
In fact him and former Vipers attacker Allan Okello finished behind Morocco’s Oussama Lamlioui who won the golden boot with six goals at the tournament.
The Venoms earlier this month appointed Frenchman Denis Lavagne as their new head coach replacing Belgian Ivan Jacky Minnaert.
They have so far beefed up the squad with the acquisation of Joel Sserunjogi, Jacques Mangoba, Nicholas Mwere, Cesar Manzoki and goalkeeper Loyce Marius Mbaba.
They have also part ways with Taddeo Lwanga, Nicholas Wadada, Livingston Mulondo, Grant Mastiko, Frank Katongole, Alfred Mudekereza and Bashir Ssekagya.
