BUL FC have completed the signing of Derrick Byabachwezi on a two year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Byabachwezi joins the Jinja based outfit as a free agent from relegated side Buhimba United Saints.
The budding forward scored one goal as Buhimba succumbed to relegation last season, a winner against Maroons.
He is expected to boost the Alex Isabirye coached side which has embarked on a rebuilding process following a departure of over 10 players from last season’s squad.
Prior to joining Buhimba United Saints in 2024 on a one and half year contract, Byabachwezi turned out for Kitara FC and was part of the team that won the 2023/24 FUFA Big League title.
As earlier reported, BUL also signed defender Cyrus Kibande and offensive midfielder Umar Lutalo from SC Villa and KCCA FC respectively.
BUL will be competing in the FUFA Super 8 and will open their campaign with a home and away duel against KCCA FC.
